Return and Refund Policy
WORKSHOP & CLASS REGISTRATION POLICY
Class Registration
Payment in full is required at the time of registration to reserve your spot in an Ames Designs workshop or class.
Public workshops and classes require a minimum of four (4) registered participants in order for the class to be held.
Customer Cancellations
If you are unable to attend a workshop or class for which you are registered, please contact Ames Designs as soon as possible.
Customer cancellations are non-refundable. The full amount paid will be retained as a class credit and may be applied toward another Ames Designs workshop or class taking place within three (3) months of the originally scheduled class date.
Class credits:
- May be applied toward an available future class or workshop.
- Must be used within the three-month credit period.
- Are not redeemable for cash.
- Expire if not used within the three-month period from date of cancellation.
- May be transferred to another person with prior approval from Ames Designs.
Classes Cancelled by Ames Designs
Ames Designs reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop or class, including when the minimum enrollment of four (4) participants has not been met.
If Ames Designs cancels a class, registered participants may choose either:
- A full refund of the amount paid, returned to the original form of payment; or
- A credit for the full amount paid to be used toward another Ames Designs workshop or class within three (3) months of the canceled class date.
When a class is canceled by Ames Designs, no cancellation fee will be charged to the customer.
Refund processing times may vary depending on the financial institution or payment provider.
Private Events
A 50% deposit is required to reserve the date and time for a private group event. The remaining balance is due on or before the scheduled event date.
Cancellation or rescheduling terms for private events may differ from public workshop registrations and will be provided at the time of booking.
ONLINE PRODUCT RETURNS & EXCHANGES
For merchandise purchased online, returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of the delivery date.
To request a return or exchange, contact Ames Designs at ADGrandell@gmail.com and include your order number, purchase date, and reason for the return or exchange. Items returned without prior authorization may not be accepted.
Please allow up to 10 business days for an eligible refund to be processed after the returned merchandise has been received.
Return Shipping
If an item is being returned or exchanged because it arrived defective or damaged, Ames Designs will provide a prepaid return shipping label.
For returns or exchanges for other reasons, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Items Not Eligible for Return or Exchange
The following items are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Clearance items
- Final Sale items
- Special-order items
- Custom projects
- Gift cards
Ames Designs reserves the right to decline a return or exchange if the item does not meet the requirements of this policy.
Condition of Returned Items
Except for merchandise that was defective or damaged when received, returned merchandise must be unused, undamaged, complete, and include its original packaging.
Refund Method
Approved merchandise refunds will be issued to the original form of payment, less any applicable shipping and handling charges. If the original payment method is unavailable, Ames Designs may issue store credit at its discretion.
IN-PERSON PRODUCT RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Merchandise purchased in person at Ames Designs may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of the original purchase date with a valid receipt or other proof of purchase.
Clearance items, Final Sale items, Special-Order items, Custom Projects, and Gift Cards are not eligible for return or exchange.
Except for merchandise that was defective or damaged when purchased, returned merchandise must be unused, undamaged, complete, and include its original packaging.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original form of payment.

Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Ames Designs. By using www.AmesDesigns.Art, making a purchase, or registering for a class, workshop, or event, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
CLASSES & WORKSHOPS
Payment in full is required to reserve your spot unless otherwise stated.
Public classes require a minimum of four (4) registered participants. If Ames Designs cancels a class because the minimum is not met or for another reason, you may choose either a full refund to your original form of payment or a credit toward another class taking place within three (3) months of the canceled class date.
If you cancel or are unable to attend, your registration is non-refundable. The amount paid may be applied toward another Ames Designs class or workshop taking place within three (3) months of your originally scheduled class date.
Class credits are not redeemable for cash and expire after the three-month period.
Participants are expected to follow class instructions and behave safely and respectfully. Ames Designs reserves the right to ask anyone engaging in unsafe or substantially disruptive behavior to leave without a refund.
Some classes may have age requirements, which will be stated in the class description.

PRIVATE EVENTS
Private classes and events may have separate booking, deposit, cancellation, and rescheduling requirements.
Unless otherwise stated at booking, a 50% deposit is required to reserve the date and time, with the remaining balance due on or before the scheduled event date.
Any specific terms provided when booking a private event will apply to that event.
PRODUCTS & PURCHASES
Ames Designs may offer original artwork, prints, handmade items, merchandise, and other products online or in person.
Every reasonable effort is made to accurately display product descriptions, colors, sizes, and images. Colors may vary depending on your screen or device, and handmade or original artwork may have natural variations that are not considered defects.
Prices and availability are subject to change. Ames Designs reserves the right to correct pricing, scheduling, product-description, or other website errors.
Online payments are processed through GoDaddy and/or the applicable payment provider. Ames Designs does not independently store full credit or debit card information.
Product returns and exchanges are subject to the Ames Designs Return & Refund Policy.
ARTWORK & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Artwork, designs, photographs, graphics, logos, class designs, instructional materials, and other original content created by Ames Designs remain the intellectual property of Ames Designs unless otherwise stated.
Purchasing artwork or merchandise or participating in a class does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights.
Ames Designs artwork and designs may not be copied, reproduced, sold, or used commercially without prior written permission.
Participants are welcome to photograph and share their own completed class artwork for personal and social-media use.
PHOTOS & VIDEOS
Ames Designs may occasionally take photographs or videos during classes or events for use on the Ames Designs website or social-media pages.
If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please notify Ames Designs before or at the beginning of the class or event.
WEBSITE & THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The Ames Designs website may use third-party services such as GoDaddy, payment processors, shipping providers, or social-media platforms. These services have their own terms and privacy practices.
You may not misuse the Ames Designs website, interfere with its operation, submit false information, or copy or commercially use its content without permission.
Personal information is handled according to the Ames Designs Privacy Policy.
LIABILITY
Art classes may involve paint, art supplies, tools, adhesives, resin products, wood-burning equipment, or other materials depending on the activity.
Participants agree to follow safety instructions and use materials and equipment appropriately.
To the extent permitted by law, Ames Designs is not responsible for damage to personal clothing or belongings resulting from ordinary participation in an art activity or for indirect or consequential losses related to use of the website, products, or services.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights or protections that cannot legally be waived.
GOVERNING LAW & CHANGES
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Ames Designs may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be posted on www.AmesDesigns.Art.
